Time Flies When You’re Having Fun

It’s been about a month since I started traveling. It’s crazy how fast time goes by. I have seen so much in such a short time but I have also so little time to see so much more. I have been to 9 different cities in 4 different countries. I am now on to my 10th city and my 5th country and it has only been a month. I feel so lucky and so fortunate. I know a lot of people travel but not many that have been to so many places.

Today I tried to sleep in. I have been hostel hoping like crazy with 10 am checkouts and today I didn’t have to check out. I also didn’t get to sleep in because everyone was making a ruckus in the morning.

I roamed the city of Manchester. I went to a couple museums as well as a library. What I thought was interesting was that they were all free. At home nothing is free so it was very unexpected.

A simple and calm day. The Vogue exhibit was very interesting and cool to see. It was my favorite part of the day. But the science museum was really cool as well. We have something similar at home, I can’t remember what it is called but there are many interactive elements involving science.

Nothing very exciting happened except for the one time I failed to lift my leg and I tripped, thankfully I caught myself. A gentleman who was walking toward me who saw the whole thing play out proceeded to say something like “you still look cool love” in his English accent as he walked by. I could not stop laughing at the fact that I can’t walk and at what he said.

Well that’s that, my excitement for the day. It was nice to have a calm, chill and non-eventful day. My last few days have been full of constant struggles and excitement.
